You can never have enough power, for your iPhone and other gadgets, and Ontrion knows that. As many others have done, they have introduced a case for the iPhone 5/5s, the LifeCHARGE Battery Case ($79.99). But where others have fallen short, Ontrion has gone a step further. Specifically, many such cases obstruct the headphone jack, and include an extension cable that you're supposed to carry around. That extension is going to get lost or forgotten, making you rely on the built in speakers.
Considering that a prime use of the battery case would be on an airplane watching videos on long flights, this is a problem. Fortunately, the LifeCHARGE Battery Case has a generous opening allowing you to insert most headphones or earbuds. And if you do want to use the built-in speakers, they have a grill that smartly redirects audio towards the user, something Apple should have done in the first place.
This is not Ontrion's first rodeo, either. They have been producing battery cases for the iPhone 4 and non-Apple devices as well. The iPhone 5 case is available in any color you want, as long as it's black. The exterior has a nice rubbery grip which is quite comfortable, but it does pickup oils from your hands. I like the four blue TRON-like LEDs on the back above the power button that indicate how much of the 2300mAh is left, without having to remember some color coding scheme!
