If you're in the market for a new iPad that can access the cellular data network, Best Buy has a fantastic sale going on through Saturday, March 8. If you buy a 3G or 4G iPad, you'll receive a $30 discount, PLUS another $100 discount at checkout if you activate the iPad and data plan in the store. In addition, the $35 activation fee is waived. PLUS, if you activate a plan with Verizon or AT&T, you'll receive a $100 credit toward your data plan. So altogether that amounts to a savings of $265!
In addition, each iPad model comes with a discount for that particular model. So, for example, the 32GB iPad mini comes with a $30 discount. If you buy the cellular data model, you get that $30 discount on top of the $265 in savings outline above. You're saving nearly $300.
The discounts specific to the various iPad models include $100 off the iPad 2, and from $20 to $50 off the iPad Air, depending on how much memory the model has. The iPad mini with retina display comes with a $20 discount for the 16GB model, and $30 off the other models.
If it sounds complicated, the bottom line is you get a discount of $20-100 on every iPad model, and then on top of that discount, you save up to an additional $265 if you choose a cellular data model with Verizon or AT&T. Read more about this deal on CNET.
