Two weeks after releasing the first version of iOS 7 to developers, Apple has just seeded Beta version 2. And while the first Beta was available only for the iPhone or iPod Touch, Beta 2 is available for the iPad and iPad Mini as well. The updated iOS 7 Beta is available through the OTA update for those who are currently running and testing iOS 7 Beta.

I have been running iOS 7 Beta on my iPhone 5 since the day Apple launched it, and I wished I could do the same for my iPad. But it seems iOS 7 Beta on the iPad is pretty much the same as the one for iPhone, so there's really no point in installing it now on my iPad Mini. My iPad Mini will just have to wait until September before it gets a taste of iOS 7.

So, what are the new things Beta 2 brings into the table aside from iPad and iPad Mini support? Not that much actually. One notable new feature is the additional male voice for Siri, which Apple announced during the WWDC 2013.

Most of the other changes are minor tweaks and bug fixes to the user interface and seems to be more of a performance update in preparation for its full release in September. But since Beta 1 is expiring July 25, the update is a must for those using iOS 7 and they must install it prior to said date.

Apple's own Voice Memos app, which was not present in iOS 7 Beta 1, makes a comeback in Beta 2. So, if you were worried about this app's availability, you can now rest easy knowing it will be available in the full version of iOS 7 coming out this fall.

As for the rest of you who are running iOS 6+ on your iOS devices, enjoy its remaining days. iOS 7 is going to give you a totally new iOS experience when it comes out.
