In a few days, the rust-colored clay courts of Stade Roland-Garros in Paris will be alive with excitement as the French Open begins. The French Open, the second tennis tournament of the Grand Slam quartet, is distinct due to being the largest clay-court tourney in the world and arguably the most demanding. For those tennis addicts who need to keep up with each set and volley, we’ve found three apps that will be right up your alley.

1) Roland-Garros (Free)

This is the official app of the French Open, created by Orange France. Its highlights include live point-by-point serve and results, updates, in addition to real-time game statistics powered by IBM. The app has gone through a couple of revamps to include Radio Roland-Garros as well as video interviews with players and highlights. Throw in maps of the stadium complex, behind the scenes videos courtesy of Dailymotion and in-app breaking news and you’ll feel as if you’re right there. You can even get in on the Twitter conversations and Facebook chats via in-app social media integration.

2) ATP/WTA Live (Free)

The official app of the ATP World Tour and the World Tennis Association, ATP/WTA Live gives you full information on your favorite players. From bios to live scores and match statistics, this app gives you a hardcore source for all your tennis news. One little gem here is the player head-to-head statistics.

3) Live Score Tennis (Free)

For those who want their tennis news quick as a baseline shot, Live Score Tennis is the way to go! The app has live coverage for more than 5,000 players and 1,000 tournaments across the globe. It combines both the Grand Slam and ATP/WTA coverage and gives you video highlights. There’s also a chance to access previous matches and customize the notifications one gets in regards to players and tournaments.
