There are a couple of boomless Bluetooth headsets. They are all in mono, and just made for a single ear. Andrea Electronics has taken the boom out and developed SuperBeam Phones and SuperBeam Buds that are both HD sets that utilize the USB port.
The testing was done on a Windows 7 Laptop and Desktop. With the optional “Y” cable, I was also able to test it on a Blackberry Bold, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch as well as an Android tablet running honeycomb.
The USB attachment was as simple as plug and play. Windows saw it, installed it and w/i1 minute, it worked.
