If you've ever received a photo on your iPhone via text or email that you wanted to save or share, you'll be glad to know saving the image to your camera roll or copying and pasting it into a new email is quick and easy.

To save a photo from a text message:

  1. Open Messages and tap on the conversation with the image.
  2. Tap on the photo.
  3. Tap on the Action button in the upper right-hand side of the screen (it looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it).
  4. Tap on Save Image. Your image will be saved in your iPhone's Camera Roll.

To save a photo from an email:

  1. In Mail, open the email with the photo.
  2. Tap and hold on the photo.
  3. Tap on Save Image to save it to your device's Camera Roll.

To copy and paste the image directly from one email into a new email:

  1. Tap and hold on the image, and then tap on Copy.
  2. Next, create a new email, tap and hold in the body of the email, and select Paste when it appears.
