I've written about Buqu's wireless charging cases before, so I was excited to see their latest offering, the Mobile Battery Pack. As expected, they offer wireless charging when the phone is placed on their charging stand, but now this external battery pack also leverages the magnetic charging design.
Imagine unlimited power by just attaching pre-charged battery packs as needed. This would be great for long distance flights or other occasions when you can't easily plug in to an outlet. Tradeshows like the Consumer Electronics Show would be so much easier!
There are competing solutions that offer either external battery packs or wireless charging, but it's hard to find one that offers both in a magnetically integrated solution. A nice touch is that Buqu's stands and battery packs are standardized, so if you had a Buqu case for the iPhone 4, your stand and chargers will work with the iPhone 5. And if you have family members with specific Android phones (Samsung S4 and S3) they can get Buqu cases and share your chargers and stands!
