The Olympics - Official App for the Olympic Games (free) goes beyond the current Olympics to give you a trove of historical information, including Olympic records, stories of the athletes, photos, and more. You'll also find news and schedules for Sochi 2014.

NBC Sports Live Extra (free) lets you view every event in Sochi live on your iPhone or iPad for free. In addition, the app features video clips, previews of upcoming events, and highlights from completed events. Also available are replays of events. You can browse the schedule from within the app and event set reminders to alert you to specific events.

2014 Team USA Road to Sochi (free) comes to you courtesy of the United States Olympic Committee. It gives information on the athletes, results, and the experiences of the athletes. It features in-depth bios, photos, and video clips.

Sochi 2014 Results (free) is the official app of the ANO Organizing Committee and brings you real-time results from all the events. You can set alerts for your favorite athletes, follow the news, create your own Games schedule, and more.
