CES 2014: Iterium Brings Serious Sensor Protection to CES!

Let's see... There is a food sensor that detects nitrates in fruit and vegetables, a radioactivity sensor to detect gamma radiation. Also coming this year, a UV sensor to protect you from too much sun. Iterium has you mostly covered from harm (at least from nitrates or radiation hazards.)

But I admit there was not much opportunity to test them at their CES booth (they had nothing but plastic fruit there, and there's not much radiation in those wavelengths). One recommendation is to be very clandestine with the food sensor if you attempt to use it at the supermarket, instead of after you get the fruit home (requires inserting a probe into the fruit) All three items have an accompanying iOS app, will range from $60-$120, and should be available in first quarter 2014.
