There appears to be no end to the ways you can make music through a Bluetooth connection here at CES. The Clio ($349) is a 24W 2.1 speaker product that uses tiny actuators to conduct sound through a clear convex pane of acrylic.
The sound is startlingly robust, but I hate to judge that out on the show floor where the ambient noise level makes it difficult to hear well. The rep demoed several tracks and we were able to sit down directly in front and listen at higher volume. A bit on the pricey side, but then there is the novelty of having a clear curved speaker on a bookshelf or table. An elegant and unique design to be sure. Available for pre-order only (March 2014 delivery).
