It’s been a little more than two years since I reviewed the original Toddy screen cleaning cloth. Since then I think that has been one of the better, if not best, quality (and affordable) screen cleaning accessories on the market. Recently, Toddy Gear came out with two new re-inventions of the screen cleaning system called the Wedge ($14.99) and Screensters ($9.99).
The Wedge is an all-in-one stand and cleaning system. Have a case on? No big deal. Just rest your device on the Wedge and you have an instant stand. Is your screen dirty? Use one side of the Wedge to clean it, and then polish your screen with the other silky side of the stand. This would make a great travel accessory, as it’s fairly light and multi-purpose. As an aside, I had to fend off two people in my household from permanently taking possession of this during testing. It’s a popular accessories over her, and I’m not sure how long I can hold ’em off.

The Screenster I am using is called Biblio. He’s all about “Fiction, Fact or Fantasy.” Other Screenster personalities (as a sample) include Harmonia, Gunnar, Cheerie, Texterella, and Shredster. Check these little guys out. These are fun little characters that serve by cleaning your screen. They are roughly the height of a 5th-generation iPod Touch and come with an elastic strap to attach to a bag. No matter what your age is, this is a cool version of the Toddy Cleaning system. Just like the wedge, you have a clean and polish side. The Screenster is compact, performs an excellent function, and doesn’t talk back. It's a great gift idea.
