If your smartphone is in working order, and you purchased it within the last three years, AT&T will give you at least $100 for it. According to the promotion, "working order" means the phone can be turned on and off, the screen works, the phone has no damage, and the battery can be recharged.
Once you've determined the value of your phone, you can use the same website to print out a prepaid mailing label and trade‑in receipt. AT&T pays the shipping costs. You'll get your promotion card in about four weeks. You also can trade in your device at any AT&T store and receive an instant in-store reward toward a new device, product, or service.
