A new Gmail app from Google has arrived for the iPhone and iPad. It's free, and it's a complete refresh of an app that wasn't that well received when it first appeared: new interface, new features, and integration of Google's other services, such as Calendar and Google+ social networking. The app appears to be based on the popular Sparrow app, and integrates some of its features — which isn't surprising, given that Google purchased Sparrow.
