I'm always attracted by natural products so have been intrigued when I see ads for wooden covers and cases. One of the makers of a wooden cover, Toast, recently sent me a walnut cover to try with my iPad mini. Toast offers wood covers so light and thin that they seem almost to be a film overlay on the back of your device. It may provide a small amount of protection, mainly from scratching, but the main purpose, I think, is simply elegance and feel. It adheres to your device with a 3M adhesive. You simply peel off the backing paper and apply the cover to the back of your device.
