Citing a market analyst who recently traveled in Asia, AppleInsider is reporting that production of components for a new Apple TV set will begin in May or June, and that Apple's long-anticipated TV will be available by the end of the year. Note that this is an actual TV rather than the set-top box called Apple TV that's already available. It would be great fun to see Apple revolutionize yet another industry. It's bound to happen: the old broadcast, mass-advertising model is dead.
