Mark this one as unlikely: a rumor that Apple will hold an event in early February that will announce the iPad 3 and iOS 5.1. All the evidence suggests that the iPad 3 will start shipping in March, and it would be out of character for Apple to announce the device a month in advance. The iPad 2 was announced last year just 9 days before it began shipping, which is more what one would expect from Apple. Also, it will be interesting to see how iOS 5.1 appears.
